Custom Landscaping And Hardscaping
Many Home owners
think that to lay sod is something that they can do on a Saturday
afternoon. If your only laying a pallet, then this is
true. But to lay sod right, there is much more than just laying
it on top of the weeds and trash that is all ready there.
First
all the weeds and trash has to be Killed and removed. Then the area
needs to be leveled and cut back to grade. If top soil is needed then
it must be placed and graded also. After grading then any fertilizer
and or other augments need to placed out.
And
then the sod can be placed and laid
out.

Here the ground is being prepared to start to lay the sod. The surface
has been stripped off and is being graded.

The surface has been cut to grade , the sod set out and sod being
laid.

The surface has to be hand raked to finish the prep.
